anniversary. Allerton Bridges Limited was formed in 2001 to build on 20 years bridgework experience and has become an established supplier in the UK and European Markets.

Confidence in its loyal and highly skilled workforce, expanding client base and reputation led the company to invest in a new custom-built office and workshop development in 2004.

Set in over 2.5 acres of land in North Yorkshire, occupying over 3,500 square metres. Allerton workshops are fully equipped with modern plant including CNC profile burning, CNC drilling, shotblasting, plate girder line and semi-automatic
welding. The company has a 65 tonne lifting capability and can generally fabricate to any size that is transportable.
Welding operatives and procedures are fully qualified to EN 287/288 minimum approval including MMA, MIG, GSFCAW, and submerged-arc.
Allerton has a broad spectrum of blue chip clients. The company produces high quality steel fabrications including all types of crane steelwork, box and plate girders, heavy plant structures, primary and secondary steelwork, bridgework, oil and chemical and metal structures,
sector gates, dock gates, hydro schemes, offshore and energy structures etc. for both the UK and export markets.

Allerton Bridges Limited backed by Allerton Engineering Limited with RQSC and ISO 9001:2000 and Link-up approval for rail related works, provides flexibility in design together with a standard range of bridges styles bring an extensive choice of construction to the client.
In-house design and fabrication offers the client a one-stop service and can include foundation design and construction which together with project administration by Chartered Engineers clearly demonstrate the advantages of design and build.
Maintenance costs are minimised by good detailing practice and the application of Highways Agency Approved Paint Systems providing a minimum maintenance free period of 12 years, often up to 20 years.
